I owe so much to my first Jewelry instructor, Connie Fox, who lives in San Diego, CA and teaches some of the most amazing classes! I started taking jewelry classes from her in January of 2009, and I can’t begin to express my gratitude for all that she has taught me! I’ve taken classes from her in Wire Work, Metal Fabrication, Design, and she has really made an impact on me and so many others. I recently had the privilege of taking a Bangles class from her over Memorial Day weekend, and as always, it was fantastic! I learned to solder heavy gauge sterling silver wire to form a bracelet, and also to solder brass, copper, or sterling silver balls to it as an embellishment. The result is fantastic, and I’m so pleased with my finished project!
If you are looking for a wonderful instructor, Connie is it. She teaches classes out of her home in San Diego, but they fill up extremely quickly. In her online store, she sells tools and supplies at fantastic prices, and her blog gives excellent tips on almost any technique. Check out her website at www.jatayu.com. I know you will love her as much as I do!
