Spring is my favorite season!  The weather here in sunny Arizona can’t be beat, and almost makes the upcoming summer heat bearable!  Under gorgeous blue skies and 80 degree weather, I was privileged to display my Jewelry and to be one of many vendors at the M7 Street Fair this past weekend in Phoenix.  I met some wonderful people and had a great time!  A large crowd gathered all along the Melrose District, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as they made their way from booth to booth and ate, drank, and danced. All of the vintage shops and businesses were open, and it was great to see such a large group wandering up and down the street.  If you’ve never visited this part of Phoenix and you are a fan of Vintage items, this is the place for you!  Just down from the Street Fair there was also a  Classic Car Show which was fantastic, and many auto enthusiasts came to see and share their dream cars!

My good friends Lesley Fisher and Michael Putnam of Jack & Cat Curio of Jack & Cat, were 2 booths down from me, and it was great to have them so close! If you’ve never seen their fantastic work, check out their website and blog and you will be inspired! They teach a variety of Mixed Media classes throughout the Phoenix area as well as other locations in Arizona. You will love them! While I haven’t done many vendor shows, I hope that in the future I will have new opportunities to do so. Even though it is a lot of work, it’s great to have the chance to interact with customers and get a new vision for their tastes and preferences in Jewelry!
